Selecting Your CPAP Headgear and CPAP Chin Straps

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Their are so many variables when it comes to properly fitting your CPAP mask to your unique head shape and size that it’s almost impossible to do it on your own the first time. Their are different CPAP mask designs, different shaped CPAP Masks, different CPAP headgear and CPAP chin straps

We always recommend having a professional assist your on your CPAP mask fitting. If your CPAP mask is fitted incorrectly you won’t sleep well at all, and your CPAP mask won’t be able to do it’s job leaving you feeling rundown and worn-out.

You will need to chose the correct CPAP headgear or CPAP chinstrap to fit your head size and shape to prevent air leaks during the night. If you need assistance in doing this feel free to contact The CPAP Shop for friendly service and advice.
