Philips Respironics PR SYSTEM ONE REMSTAR the perfect basic CPAP system. It includes the standard wide pressure range(4-20), adjustable ramp, manual altitude adjustment, SD data card, and a universal power supply. The PR System One uses a SD card for data collection. Prior to the System One, patients were required to use a specialized card reader when uploading sleep data to a computer. Philips-Respironics has made this process easier by using the standard SD card, giving the patient the ability to use any SD reader to upload sleep data to the EncorePro or EncoreAnywhere software. The REMstar will record Patterns of use data only.

System One Humidity Control with Dry Box Technology:
- The included System One Heated Humidifier analyzes ambient temperature, changing environmental conditions, relative humidity, and therapy flow to deliver optimum humidity – and ultimate comfort – throughout the night while also dramatically reducing rainout. Dry Box technology isolates the humidfier's water source from the inner workings of the device to protect against accidental spillage and water damage.
DC Power:
- This CPAP is equipped with a DC plug on the back of the unit. This allows the user to connect to an external DC battery source. The Respironics DC cord with the PR System One REMstar Basic CPAP can be powered by plugging into a cigarette lighter plug. This is ideal for traveling by car, boat, or recreational vehicle that is equipped with a cigarette lighter plug (see recomended items)
System One Resistance Control:
- System One Resistance Control achieves complete system comfort by enabling the device and mask to work optimally together. Through simple settings, the technology instructs the device to compensate for variable resistance characteristics related to different masks.
