I can actually sleep on my side pretty well with this one. What I really like is being able to wear the tube on the top of my head. Keeps me from getting tangled up, I toss and turn a lot when I sleep. Nice mask

The Fisher & Paykel Opus 360 Nasal Pillow Mask is a great interface. Being a former Sleep Disorders Technologist, I have seen a large number of mask designs, and I personally have tried at least four other nasal pillow systems over the last 6 years, but I have to say that this one is the best. It is so light that I barely know that it is there. The pillows never leak air, no matter what position I sleep in. I did end up buying a set of Pad-A-Cheek cushions when the cheek pads wore out, but overall the system is wonderful. You've gottta try it!

I've been a practicing Respiratory Care Practitioner for over 30 years, and have worked with individuals and sleep disorder centers for many years of that time. I've actually worn and tried several (sample) masks, and frankly like this one the best.
It stays where you put it!! It doesn't change strap tension. It is also extremely comfortable--so much so that I have recommended it on several occasions.
When using this mask, you must choose the largest pillows that you can accommodate to maximize the air flow. I made the mistake of using the medium size, and almost suffocated for the first night. Using the large size in my smaller nares works very well, and will make the best comfort.
When using this mask, I recommend that you do not RAMP the CPAP unit. Again when you ramp the CPAP, you reduce the pressure by reducing the air flow. That can cause that "can't get enough air" feeling.
The down side of this mask is the location and the size of the exhaust holes. The air flows directly out of the front of my face. Getting too close to my wife will blow air in her and make her crabby every time. The hole size is very small. When condensation from the humidification device gets low enough, water will occlude the micro holes and make "wheezing" sounds.

I received this mask as an alternative to my Resmed Swift FX trying to ensure that I had the best mask. I was attracted to the idea of the hose being held over my head as the hose on my other mask can slide down the tube holder and dangle in my face. Another point was that I was hoping the exhaust vent would blow over my head as when I lay on my left side the exhaust tends to blow on my wife chilling her.
I immediately ran into a problem with the rigid plastic assembly that hold the nasal pillows. My first 3 to 4 hours of sleep are typically on my back, no problem with the Opus so far, it could have been considered perfect. When I turned to my side, which I do every night, the rigid plastic braces over my cheeks move just enough to break the seal on my nose. Initially I figured this just needed some getting used to and finding the right settings on the head gear. Inevitably I would roll over and lose the seal. I readjusted the mask and tried going back to sleep until my head would sink in my pillow and the hissing would start again from the leak.
This went on for a few nights before I lost patience and returned to my old mask. A couple of weeks later I returned to the Opus determined that I could find the comfort zone but again, as soon as I was on my side the leak came back. The other deal breaker for me compared to the Swift FX is the exhaust. With the hose positioned over the top of the head and no way to swivel the hose, the exhaust vent blows on my wife's head with me not being able to swivel the hose so it blows away from her.
So while this mask wasn't ideal for me, I can say that if you primarily sleep on your back or on your side that doesn't often face your sleeping partner, this is a great mask and would be an easy choice for comfort as I do love the idea of the hose being kept away from my face.

5 stars The Fisher & Paykel Opus 360 Nasal Pillow Mask works great. The Nasal section stays in place throughout the night. I can sleep on my tummy, with this mask on. I can undo the top peace so the hose can come down, if I want to read or watch T.V. The best out of 3 Nasal masks, This is the one for me.

This is a great piece of headgear! It's the only one I'll wear since the tube goes over my head and i can sleep in any position without getting tangled.

There is hardly anything to this mask and it came with 3 different size pillow cushions. Easy to fit and very lightweight. I really like the tube going over my head and out of my way.

I can sleep comfortably in just about every position with this mask. The mask was easy to adjust to get a perfect fit.
