I just got the Swift FX mask and it is wonderful. I was really considering forgoing cpap and trying surgery because I couldn't keep a mask on for more than a couple of hours before is started leaking.

I had just switched to the FX Nasal Pillow Mask and could not be happier! Relying on reviews can be tricky but somehow I feel that everyone here is in the same boat and some products score poorly so the reviews could be fair.
This mask is extremely lightweight and is very comfortable on my fat little face. I do not feel the head straps at all and the nasal cushions ( medium) fit well and there is no leakage. What is exciting, to ,me anyway, is how the exhaust noise is muted. In my other nasal mask, the exhaust port was one small hole which created a rather loud whooshing sound which took time to get used to. On this mask, it is very soft and I am able to go to sleep literally within minutes of laying down.
I am really glad that I purchased this mask even though it is at the higher end of costs. The fact that it is so comfortable means that i will use it which translates into more effective treatment.

The Swift FX, my first nasal pillow mask, has proven to be amazing. For the previous few years I have used the ResMed Mirage Activa and thought it was hands down likely the best mask ever. Until now.
It took a while to get comfortable with the two pillows in the nose, this was made worse by the fact that I initially had the head strap adjusted too tightly. Turns out that I can adjust this to fit almost loosely under my nose and still have a great seal. A video here on the product page of how to adjust and wear the mask would be helpful. After finding a good fit on the second night and not having my nose scrunched up I was able to fully appreciate the light weight of the mask. The Swift FX weighs in at less than 2 ounces compared to my old mask weighing over 4 ounces.
No more mask lines on the right and left of my nose or indentations from the forehead cushion. Since I have a mustache I also think the Swift FX works better than my old over-the-nose mask as sometimes it would develop a leak during the night depending on how the mask sat on my mustache. Another benefit is that if you feel a bit claustrophobic with the head gear wrapping your head and the mask over your nose, the Swift FX almost gave me back the feeling that I didn't have a mask on at all.
Regarding the Swift and my humidifier; my CPAP has a setting range between 0 and 6. With my old mask I would set the humidifier at 1.5 in the winter and 2 in the summer to avoid mask rain. I have tested the Swift with humidity settings up to 5.5 before I started getting mask rain. This only began when the temperature in our room with the windows open dropped to 65 degrees – I live in Arizona! I love the extra humidity I'm able to get with the Swift FX before it starts raining in the mask.
The nasal pillows: The kit I received came with large and medium pillows. The large size was no good for me; the medium is what I ended up using. I'm interested in trying the small pillows though, as I think they may be the better fit for me. I'll try to update this as I test the smaller nasal pillow. I wish there was some visual guide to help in choosing the pillow size before we buy our kit.
Travelers; this mask if perfect for us when traveling long distance international flights. We do not look so alien with the Swift sitting almost inconspicuously under our noses compared to wearing the fighter pilot headgear. Also, when camping I loved that this setup as it is so compact and light; now if only we could buy a 2 or 3 foot hose of the same diameter that comes with the Swift to lighten our load a little more.

Not only is it comfortable, it's light and packs away easily. If it lasts more than a few months, Resmed has a winner.
Thanks for showing it to me.

I could not believe how light this mask is. It is easy to fit AND wear. The "Fighter pilot" look in nasal masks for me is history. I use this mask with my Remstar machine.
Great customer service. Thanks.

I don't find myself having to constantly adjust anything, I can sleep through the night without any problems. The headgear is so lightweight, I can sleep on my side comfortably.

Having worn a nasal mask for the past 4 years, I was hesitant to try the nasal pillows. I'm happy I did, the pillows fit snuggly and comfortably. Like that the headgear is so durable too. I tried using the nasal pillows with and without the heated humidifier. I found it more comfortable when the heated humidifier was turned on. My pressure is a 8

I used to have the Resmed Mirage Swift™ II Nasal Pillow. Moving on to the Resmed Swift™ FX Nasal Pillow was a great step in improving sleep comfort. When lying the head on the side, it's easy to move the hose out of the way and the pillow stays in place, as opposed to my previous one where the pillow would tend to move when lying on the side the hose was plugged in.
I don't know if it's the best, but it's definitely a good buy. Don't even consider the Resmed Mirage Swift™ II.

I have been using Resmed Pillow Masks since 4 years including the prior generations "Lite"masks which I still use and is is great but this is the best yet. Easy to toss and turn, seals rather well and no longer need to assemble many parts as with prior generations. The service is great – Thank you Chris for guiding me over the last three years.
