I got the ResMed Mirage FX for Her back in June of 2011. I have been having sweet dreams ever since. No longer do I wake up in the middle of the night because of air leaks or pressure points. This is designed for a woman's face. Yea!

We understand that finding a real unbiased review is very important. Because of this, we spend hours talking to customers to better understand their likes and dislikes for a particular mask. Our review for the ResMed Mirage FX nasal CPAP mask:
The recently released ResMed Mirage FX is at the forefront of CPAP mask design and innovation. The Mirage FX combines a compact design, lightweight comfort and ultra-soft headgear to fit almost all CPAP users. The innovative “butterfly wing” forehead support is made from flexible plastic which offers users fewer pressure points and greater range for fit and adjustment. The Gentle Spring Air cushion which is soft and pliable creates a good seal while delivering quiet therapy.
The frame, which is made with a pliable plastic bending slightly where necessary, is lightweight and slender in order to provide for an open field of vision and stable fit. The mask has quickly become a side sleeper’s favorite because of the pliable frame and low profile. The “squeeze tab” elbow enables a user to quickly detach the CPAP tubing at the mask. This makes it easy to get up at night without removing the mask. Finally, the minimalist frame has only four parts which improves maintenance and care and reduces cleaning time significantly.
Overall, the Mirage FX has made big strides in comfort and functionality. However, the Mirage FX has received a few mixed reviews. The biggest complaint is that the forehead assembly is to “flimsy” and does not provide the support users are used to in other masks. To the contrary, others like the narrow assembly as it allows for TV viewing or reading.

So lightweight! The frame on this mask is different from anything I've tried. Nothing hard or uncomfortable pressing against my head or face. Love this mask!

I normally wear the Swift LT which I love except when I have a stuffed up nose. I tried the Resmed Mirage FX for her. the first night was great, but after the first week the bridge of my nose was too sore to even touch. I tried a nose pad but that didn't work either. The mask is very very light and easy to use, it just wasn't for me. I purchased in Sept 2011 and unfortunately had to return it.

I got this mask the day it came out. My gel mask was broken, and you offered this one. What a great mask. I put it on and it fits!
It is soft and comfortable, and the headgear design keeps everything secured perfectly.

What a difference! I've only had this new mask for one night, but I can tell it's going to replace my old one. This is the softest nasal mask I have ever used. The mask weighs next to nothing. The 'wings' used for the forehead piece are more comfortable than I expected. It doesn't put a lot of pressure onto 1 fixed point, like my other masks. No more red marks, no more headaches! They really did their homework!

I don't have to tighten the straps too much to get a good seal. I can't believe how light in weight this mask is.
I slept so well the first night, my husband was jealous. We threw out his clunky old mask and ordered the Mirage FX for him the next day!

I'm only giving four stars, because I've only wore it for three nights. It is very comfortable, and light. I don't know yet how long it will last, as I'm not easy on masks, and I have broken many.
It is so soft that it is a wonder how it stays put, but it does. So far, so good.
