The CPAP Shop review for the ResMed Ultra Mirage II Nasal Mask with Headgear:
This mask is similar to the original Ultra Mirage Nasal mask, with this new model having improved forehead support with flexible pads the better conform to the shape of your forehead. This mask has been around for 5+ years but continues to have a high favorable ranking.
This all purpose nasal mask is regarded by many as a great back up mask. The cushion is made of a soft clear silicon and the headgear is called Breath-O-Prene. This is made from polyurethane foam with an outer layer of nylon and spandex.
There are no adhesives used in the construction of the headgear; the materials are heat laminated together. If you are an active sleeper, this may not be the best mask for you as it tends to be less forgiving that other ResMed CPAP masks.
ResMed has recently introduced a similar looking nasal mask with a cushion that allows for more movement at night while still keeping a tight seal around your nose. This newer nasal mask is called the ResMed Activa LT.
Overall, the Ultra Mirage II is a reliable, comfortable standard nasal CPAP mask. Users like the UM II as it is a good fitting, comfortable standard mask. We rate it a 3+ only because there are alternatives which may be more appealing.(Posted on 2/10/12)

Price Value Quality I have had a CPAP for 9 years. I tried several different masks at first then settled on the Ultra Mirage I. Since the Ultra Mirage II came out, I have been with this model. Easy to put on, seals well, easy to clean and parts are available to repair it.. The only negative I have is that the head gear seems to stretch – but it is replaceable.

Price Value Quality the quick release clips on the mask are a life saver. if i get up at night, i don't have to fumble in the dark to put the mask back on. the adjustments i made are still there, the fit is good.

Quality Value Price I wanted a simple back up mask. I like the clips, I don't need to adjust my headgear a lot. Easy to change the replacement parts too. Good mask
