Comparing the 3 Best Selling Nasal Pillow CPAP Masks

How do the 3 most popular nasal pillow CPAP Masks compare?

Chris Vasta of The CPAP Shop narrates this short video comparing the three most popular nasal pillow maks; the ResMed P10, the Fisher & Paykel Pilairo Q, and also the Respironics Nuance. All three of these best-selling nasal pillow masks will work with any CPAP or BiPAP machine.

Why CPAP Nasal Masks?

CPAP pillow masks are far smaller than other nasal masks and have less contact with the face, so less chance of causing skin irritation. The smaller design is appealing to CPAP users who want to read a book or watch TV before they fall asleep. Many people in the industry think that making the masks more comfortable and less obtrusive can lead to easier CPAP therapy compliance (using the mask at least 4 hours a night). In addition, most nasal pillow masks are for sleepers who move around at night, alternating between sleeping on their backs, sides and stomachs without being uncomfortable by the mask.

Features of the ResMed AirFit P10 include:

  • Each mask comes with 3 sizes of nasal pillows to fit any nose
  • The headgear is stretchy so there is no need for Velcro
  • Air escapes next to the nasal pillows making the mask extremely quiet
  • Pillows come off easily for cleaning or replacement
  • The mask has a short tube with a swivel on it that can connect to longer tubing.

Will you send it to Singapore?

    • Chris Vasta

We do ship CPAP masks to Singapore. We ship immediately, but there may be a delay with shipping and/or customs.

I have a Redmed P10 nasal pillow mask which I love but it seems to press on the teeth under my nose and makes my teeth ache. Does the Swift FX Pillows mask do the same thing? I love the idea of a least invasive mask.

    • Chris Vasta

The position of the Swift FX Nasal Pillows would likely not be very different from the P10 mask. The P10 barry cozy may help. Perhaps try one of the more minimalistic full face masks like the ResMed F30. All of the nasal masks or nasal pillow masks are to rest in that area. You may want to speak to your dentist to get their opinion.

is there not a full face mask that doesn’t lose contact and causing leaks during sleep. have tried almost all of the remeds including the newer F30. and why should i have to make the straps so tight to keep a seal which doesn’t last and the tightness of the mask just keeps me awake constantly having to adjust the mask. sleepless in Massachusetts

    • Chris Vasta

YOu would not want to over-tighten the headgear. If you tighten the headgear too much, it will cause the mask to leak. If you would like to discuss different full face masks options, please call our customer service representatives at 866-414-9700.

What is the best nasal mask out today?

    • Chris Vasta

      Hi Wendy! It’s hard to answer which mask is the ‘best’ as everyone has different features and tolerance levels. What works for someone else, may not work for you! I can share with you the latest Nasal masks available. The DreamWisp; and the N30i;
Both masks have a similar design with the hollow mask frame that is very lightweight & comfortable. You can sleep on your side with either of these masks. Both masks also feature a hose attachment at the top. Most users find this design very convenient for sleep. The DreamWisp uses a lightweight cushion that covers over the entire nose. Whereas the N30i has a small opening that sits under the nostrils. All of the masks we carry have a 30 day return policy. If you are not satisfied with any mask, let us know!

I get a soreness around the entrance to my nostrils from the Resmed Nasel pillows. Would one of the other two be better?

  • Peter

which nasal mask would you recommend for maximum comfort if I get irritations over my ears from velcro strap rubbing on hair
