Which Full Face Mask is Best for You?

While all three ResMed AirFit full face masks are highly ranked, there are a handful of key differences that will help you pick the mask that best suits your needs. The ResMed AirFit F30 only comes in two sizes, which may require a bit more adjusting to find a good fit while the ResMed AirFit F10 is not compatible with the top-selling ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP machine. The adaptive wings of the ResMed AirFit F20 offers more customized comfort for varied face shapes and sizes.

I would like to order online, but not sure which size to get for a adult male. I’m interested in the F20 and it comes in three sizes, or is it one size fits all? Can I use hat size as a guide.

  • Amber Campbell

Currently, I have the AirFit F20. I want to try the AirFit F30 to see if it’s more comfortable.
Is the headgear compatible between the two or would I have to buy the headgear for the F30?

Similar question with the AirMini – is it compatible with the F20 and the F30 or would I need adapters for each mask?

    • Chris Vasta

Hi Amber, the headgear for the F20 is designed differently from the headgear for the F30. They are not compatible sadly. The AirMini is compatible with both masks – however – you will need to purchase specific set up kits for both masks.

Can I use my N20i mask with the Resmed Air Mini?

  • LOU W

I use the F30 mask right now but Im having issues with tears in the chin portion of the silicone cushion. Would a F20 medium memory foam cushion fit my F30 frame. What would be your recommendation in dealing with torn cushions?

    • Chris Vasta

No, the ResMed Airfit F20 medium cushion would not fit the AirFit F30 mask. The mask frames are different and the parts of the mask are not interchangeable.

  • Debbie

Can you use the Airfit 10 head gear with the Airfit 20 foam mask?

    • Chris Vasta

You could if you have the magnet from the F20headgear. You would need to move over the magnet from the F20 headgear onto the F10 headgear.

is the airfit f20 mask compatible with the airsense 10 machine? the tubing doesnt fit. can i replace the elbow?

  • Ed Beuerman

Can I sanitize my ResMed F20 Airtouch mask in my Lumen machine?

    • Chris Vasta

Yes, you can use the Lumin with your ResMed AirFit F20 Touch Foam cushion mask. However, RedMed recommends simply wiping down the cushion with a non-alcoholic CPAP mask wipe

  • Diana

I have used the F20 for several years, the seal still leaks most nights, tried F10 and it was worse, F30 has to small of nose holes. So none are perfect for my small face.
