The third and final video of the three-part interview with Dr. Brandon Peters discusses the ResMed AirSense platform and its benefits, the ability for travel with the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP machine, and Dr. Peters’ overall opinion of ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP machine.

Key Features of ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP Machine

  • Integrated heated humidifier
  • Heated tubing (optional upgrade)
  • Connected Care (built-in wireless technology)
  • SmartRamp technology
  • Low noise levels
  • User-friendly interface, LCD screen and front-facing display
  • EPR
  • AirSense 10 For Her has a different algorithm that is designed specifically for women.

In this video we also discuss the ResMed AirSense 10’s various parts and how easy they are to remove and customize. Our sleep expert discusses how each part works how the machine stacks against competition.

Benefits of Using ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP Machine

With ResMed’s integrated heated humidification system, users will experience improved comfort during CPAP therapy. Users have the ability to adjust the humidification to a level of their choosing to optimize comfort. The addition of the ClimateLine heated tubing unlocks the potential of the machine’s climate control setting—allowing users to control the temperature of the air pressure they receive.

The ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP is also virtually quiet with an operating volume of 27 dBA. This means minimal or no interruptions to your sleep. With a weight of only 2.75 lbs, the AirSense 10 is perfect for both at-home and on-the-go use.

Disadvantages of Using ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP Machine

Some users have cited the built-in humidifier and removable water chamber as a disadvantage to the ResMed AirSense 10, as it adds to the machine’s footprint. If you do not currently use a humidifier with your CPAP machine and are looking at the AirSense 10, learning how to adjust or turn off the humidifier settings will be key. Additionally, a side plate cover can be purchased to replace the water chamber which further reduces the size of the machine.

ResMed’s AirSense Series of CPAP devices are uniquely designed for streamlined set-up, WiFi connectivity, and compliance management and monitoring processes. The AirSense series is also intuitive, very user-friendly and offers a smaller bedside footprint than other devices with a front-facing screen.
