Overtightening of the headgear should not be needed, eliminating red marks or irritation on the bridge on the nose. The headgear and mask remove the need for forehead assembly. The cushion should fit securely around the mouth, allowing for positive pressure in the nose. No part of the cushion is inserted into the nose. Instead, the top of the cushion has an opening that gently rests against the nose.
