The ResMed AirMini Auto Travel CPAP Machine gives you all the comfort and convenience provided by your home auto CPAP in a small, travel-ready package. Designed for all types of travel, the ResMed AirMini weighs only 10 ounces and is compact enough to fit in a suitcase or travel bag. Though smaller, the ResMed AirMini still delivers all the features and performance of the ResMed AirSense 10 Auto CPAP machine.

ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP - Features

The ResMed AirMini features a companion smartphone app, allowing users to change device settings, view sleep data, and even turn their devices on and off. The AirMini app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

AutoRamp

Expiratory Pressure Relief

Many CPAP users find exhalation uncomfortable with some CPAP machines. The ResMed AirMini uses special technology to reduce pressure during exhalation for a more comfortable and compliant CPAP experience. This expiratory pressure relief (EPR) can be adjusted by the user for the most comfortable individual setting.

Humidification

The AirMini Travel CPAP delivers all the advantages of humidification while traveling without lugging around a humidifier. Moisturized air helps to prevent nose dryness and throat irritation, which can be especially beneficial during dry winter months. The ResMed HumidX and HumidX  Plus systems are totally waterless, built specifically to utilize moisture present in the air and avoid dryness while breathing. Just connect the quarter-sized material to the mask tubing and vented air will take care of the rest. It is necessary to replace HumidX chambers after every 30 days of usage.

Sleep Tracking

The ResMed Mini app allows users to keep track of all their sleep data, no matter where they travel. Monitor sleep scores and review up to a 30-day history to see if you are staying compliant with your CPAP therapy. The AirMini app can also help detect mask leaks, allowing you to ensure that your mask stays secure throughout the night. With comprehensive data archiving, you can share key information about your sleep patterns with your sleep doctor.

Smallest CPAP Machine - Travelling By Air With CPAP

Wherever you go, you should take your AirMini Travel CPAP. Be sure that your destination has the required power supply. Medical equipment does not count as baggage on some airlines. Check your airline’s policies before bringing your AirMini on a flight or through check-in. The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) has approved the use of the AirMini machine during a flight. Letters allowing for air transport can be downloaded and printed from ResMed’s website.

When using the machine on an airplane:

1. Disable Bluetooth (entering airplane mode.) Press the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds or more until the light turns white.
2. When you are traveling by air, you should not use the AirMini app.
3. To resume treatment, use the button labeled Start/Stop on your device.
4. Press the Bluetooth button for Bluetooth reconnection (exit airplane mode).

ResMed Smallest CPAP Machine - Ramp Time

There are three Ramp Time modes: Off, Auto, or 5 to 45 minutes.

The Auto mode is the default on this device. In Auto, the prescribed treatment pressure is achieved automatically once the device detects that you have fallen asleep.

1. Go to the Navigation tab and tap Sleep to open the Sleep screen.
2. Select Therapy
3. Choose Options. This will show you your current settings and other Sleep options.
4. Choose the desired setting to change.

ResMed Smallest CPAP Machine - Pressure Relief

Pressure Relief helps while exhaling and has been designed so that users can get used to therapy quickly.

1. In the Navigation tab, choose Sleep.
2. Choose Therapy.
3. Go to Options to access Sleep options.
4. Within Current Settings check whether Pressure Relief is on or off. You can toggle it from here according to your needs.

ResMed Smallest CPAP Machine - SmartStart

SmartStart will start the therapy as soon as the device detects your breath.

1. Go to the Navigation tab and tap Sleep to open the Sleep screen.
2. Select Therapy.
3. Choose Options and you will see Sleep options on the screen.
4. You can see your current settings here.
5. Choose the desired setting from Current Settings to change.

ResMed Smallest CPAP Machine - SmartStop

SmartStop will stop the therapy when the device can’t detect any breath for a short period of time.

1. Choose Sleep from the Navigation Tab and go to Therapy
2. Go to Options and select Sleep Options
3. Toggle SmartStop on or off

ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP Machine - Compatibility

Use the ResMed AirMini with the AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow, N20 Nasal, the F20 Full Face, or the F30 Full Face mask. The HumidX waterless humidification will only work with the P10 or N20 masks.
