The functionalities and features of the ResMed AirSense 10 Auto CPAP machine are relatively the same as ResMed AirMini. Additionally, users can carry it on long distance flights, camping trips, cruises, and road trips.

The ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP comes with a companion smartphone app, which enables the users to alter the settings of the device to meet the individual requirements. Also, the ResMed companion smartphone app enables the user to turn the device “On” and “Off” as well as view their sleep data. With the use of a special technology, the ResMed AirMini CPAP machine reduces the pressure at the time of exhalation for a more comfortable experience. Expiratory Pressure Relief can also be modified further for an even better experience. 

AirMini Autoset Travel CPAP Machine - Humidification

The AirMini Travel CPAP delivers all the advantages of humidification while traveling without lugging around a humidifier. Moisturized air helps to prevent nose dryness and throat irritation, which can be especially beneficial during dry winter months. The ResMed HumidX and HumidX  Plus systems are totally waterless, built specifically to utilize moisture present in the air and avoid dryness while breathing. Just connect the quarter-sized material to the mask tubing and vented air will take care of the rest. It is necessary to replace HumidX chambers after every 30 days of usage.

AirMini Auto Travel CPAP Machine  - Sleep Tracking

The AirMini app enables users to track and store their sleep data, irrespective of where they are sleeping. The sleep scores are monitored thoroughly and reviewed with a 30-day history to verify CPAP therapy compatibility and compliance. AirMini Auto CPAP - CPAP Mask Compatibility

The AirMini CPAP machine is only compatible with the following AirMini Setup Packs: ResMed F20 AirMini Setup Pack, ResMed P10 AirMini Setup Pack, ResMed N20 AirMini Setup Pack, ResMed N30 AirMini Setup Pack and ResMed F30 AirMini Setup Pack.

The waterless humidification, HumidX, is compatible with the N20, N30 and P10 CPAP masks.

The F20 Full Face mask is also compatible with the waterless humidification, but has it's own HumidX which can be found here.

The ResMed AirMini CPAP is easily carried on flights since it is compact, portable and FAA approved for in-flight use. Contact your airline to inquire about any special requirements for traveling with CPAP therapy prior to your flight.

AirMini CPAP - Traveling By Air With CPAP

Here are a few things to note while traveling with your AirMini CPAP Machine. Medical equipment is not classified as baggage while traveling on some airlines. Make sure to contact your airline to check for specific CPAP requirements prior to your trip. The FAA has approved the in-flight use of the AirMini CPAP machine. Letters approving air transport can be printed and downloaded from the ResMed website. Additional points to keep in mind while using a CPAP machines on an airplane: 

• Turn on airplane mode by pressing the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds or more until the light turns white to disable the Bluetooth.
• Do not use the AirMini App while traveling by air.
• The button labeled Start/Stop on the device will resume the treatment. 
• Turn off airplane mode by pressing the Bluetooth button and reconnect the Bluetooth.
