Respironics DC Cord for Cigarette Lighter socket

The Shielded DC Cord can be used to operate Respironics CPAP systems as well as some BiPAP systems when AC power is not available. The cord plugs into the Universal Battery Pack or a standard cigarette lighter socket found in most vehicles.

Please Note: This cord will allow all of the Respironics CPAP Systems to function throughout their entire pressure ranges except for the REMstar Choice Systems. This DC power cord can only be used with the REMstar Choice Systems for pressures of 11 cm H2O or lower.

This cord is compatible with the following units:

•     All Respironics M Series Machines

•     All PR System One Machines except 60 Series Models

•     Respironics REMstar CPAP/APAP Machines (No REMstar BiPAP units)

•     Respironics Synchrony Machines

•     All Sandman Series Machines

•     All DeVilbiss IntelliPAP Series CPAP and Bipap Machines

•     Puritan Bennett GoodKnight 420G, 420S, 420E CPAP Machines

Our most common questions can be found below.

Q.  Do I have the 50 Series or the 60 Series?
A.  The "50 Series" was introduced in 2010 and has a white color top face plate.  The "60 Series" was introduced in 2012, has a darker gray face, and has raised lettering on the lower top of the machine.

Q. Where should I look for the model number?
A.  Look on the bottom of the machine for the model number. You will see a REF which is followed by the model number.  If the model number contains a 50 you have the "50 series" while a  60 indicates you have the "60 series".  For example:  DS450HS is the "50 Series" and DS460TS is the "60 series"
