It features slots for venting excess air and CO2, and it also has four small holes in the front silicone piece which serve the same purpose as the venting slots.

This part will only fit the ResMed Mirage Activa Nasal mask(looks like the elbow for the Mirage Vista, but doesn't work on the Vista)
