With super-soft fit and a minimal appearance, the Swift™ FX makes it easy to forget about your mask and remember what it's like to get a great night's sleep.
This new Nasal Pillow mask has an improved headgear design and soft dual-wall flexible pillows. Lightweight tubing reduces pull on the mask to enhance stability while the flexible cushion base helps maintain a precise seal. The soft design of this ultra quiet system enhances comfort and improves compliance.
ResMed has included a set of Soft Wraps, which can be worn around the headgear side straps. The soft fleece material prevents the silicone headgear from slipping and ensures maximum comfort

Have oxygen hooked up. The tubing is heavy and when I move around, which is frequent, it pulls on the mask and I have to adjust the nasal pillows constantly. This keeps me up at night more than it should. The rubber strap at the top doesn't go well with my hair. It slips also causing constant adjustments. The nasal pillows are not right ( maybe they fitted me wrong) I would NOT recommend this mask to anyone with similar circumstances of oxygen use long hair and lots of moving around at night.
Hope this is helpful to someone.

I purchased it from japan. It is comfortable, light, and fits really well. I can sleep very well.

i have tried many, and this one is the best. but after 2 years of use i notice that the neoprene strap over the top of my head has rubbed a bald stripe across the top of my head!

I have been using a c-pap for almost five years. I tried several other masks prior to this one. For the first two years I had all of the problems that most other users have had with the larger masks - discomfort, limited sleeping positions, condensation/sweat, marks, end even sores. But, for the past two and a half years, I have used the ResMed Swift - it is by far the most comfortable mask I have used. And, with the new softer pillow material and soft wraps, I don't even have the lines on my face in the morning anymore. If you are having all of the typical problems with your current mask, I strongly recommend that you try this one.

I have been using the Swift FX for 2 months. It is a great mask. Comfortable, minimalist and well designed.
I also recently purchased a F & P Pilaro because I was intrigued by the single strap and pillow seal design - it is not as good as the Swift FX. The Pilaro has a much larger area of contact with the face and covers the end of the nose. I cannot seem to get through the night with the Pilaro but with the Swift FX, I could sleep through a full night from the first night.
I really wanted to like the Pilaro but I just can't use it when I have the Swift FX which fits so much better and doesn't make my nose sweat/drip.
I highly recommend the Swift FX and can't imagine how it could be better.

This product is friendly use,but my dad says the pressure is too high when used with the machine "Respironics PR System One REMstar".

Been using a CPAP for 6 months now. Never really used any other type of masks but I must say this one's awesome. I was told that pillow masks aren't the solution for high pressure settings but for the 9cmH2O I am it's just perfect.

I came in here to review the Swift FX mask and let everyone know, who is suffering from the cuts, acne, bruises and single sleeping position induced by those horrid full face masks....that there is a solution. I have been using the FX for two years and absolutely love it.
But I see that everyone else already knows about this. 8-)

I have been using the Resmed Swift Nasal Pillow for about a year. Yes, sometimes I open my mouth, and sometimes I lose the seal when I turn, but overall, it is a very comfortable appliance. I was non-compliant with a full face mask ... this mask is a godsend.

I've been using a CPAP for 8 years. This mask is the best that I've used. The last couple changes in mask style have been due to the manufacturer not making it any longer. I hope this doesn't happen with this one. Simple design, superior comfort.

I was that patient...that made the sleep study assistant pull out every mask they had (new and in the bag of course) so I could be sure which one I wanted to have strapped to my nose every night...this mask makes this whole experience much easier! ...GET IT!!!

Excellent comfortable mask, so much so that the previous 2 other masks I had have been both trashed. It doesn't get much better than this mask. I'm buying a second one in fact tomorrow morning.

I have been using all the prior models of Res Med but this is the ultimate. I have 2 for alternating while one is washed and one for travel. Fantastic - for first time it is easy to sleep on back, sides and even on stomach, toss and turn. When you get one don't try to wear it too tight just easy and effortless.. Enjoy .

We understand that finding a real unbiased review is very important. Because of this, we spend hours talking to customers to better understand their likes and dislikes for a particular mask. Our review for the ResMed Swift FX nasal pillow CPAP mask:
The latest and greatest in the Swift arsenal is the Swift FX. Although some would say it would be difficult to improve upon one of the best selling masks, the Swift FX has essentially brought nasal pillow masks to another level. ResMed has listened to all the positive and negative comments from the previous Swift CPAP masks and tried to create something nearly perfect. ResMed added just enough improvement and reduced a few parts to make the Swift FX the most popular nasal pillow mask on the market today. For starters, the headgear is more strategically placed and softer to the face. ResMed has also removed the strap buckle from behind the head. Its flexible and fluid design follows facial contours and movements promoting early acceptance of CPAP therapy.
The enhanced dual walled cushions and flexible cushion base provide for a stable user interface even at high pressures and the lightweight tubing helps to reduce pull on the mask. A set of soft wraps and small, medium and large nasal pillows are provided in the package to improve comfort and increase compliance. ResMed continues to try to appeal to women by offering a Swift FX for Her with pink headgear and smaller nasal pillows. To add to the Swift FX’s comfort factor, a barrel cozy can be purchased separately that helps with condensation and increases comfort. We have seen the Swift FX flying off the shelves and continue to receive nothing but excellent reviews from nearly all CPAP users.
The ResMed Swift FX has been even more popular than any other Swift nasal pillow mask. It consistently receives high marks for comfort, ease of use and quietness. The Swift FX has been a benefit to CPAP users looking to replace their traditional nasal CPAP mask with something more comfortable and lightweight.

Have had the FX now for two weeks and find it very hard to get used to. Yes, it is light weight but that is where the benefit ends. When you turn over the seal frequently breaks and requires readjusting ( I have tried the three different size inserts), if the hose drops off the side of the bed, the weight of the hose pulls significantly on the nasal pillow and requires readjusting the hose and the pillows, the nasal pillows irritate the nose, etc..I have not slept good since getting this.
So far the Profile Lite nasal mask still seems like the best mask I have used consistently over the past 4 years. The drawback to these is that at best they last 6 months and then require replacement. Still a great mask during those 6 months.

I just got the Swift FX mask and it is wonderful. I was really considering forgoing cpap and trying surgery because I couldn't keep a mask on for more than a couple of hours before is started leaking.

I had just switched to the FX Nasal Pillow Mask and could not be happier! Relying on reviews can be tricky but somehow I feel that everyone here is in the same boat and some products score poorly so the reviews could be fair.
This mask is extremely lightweight and is very comfortable on my fat little face. I do not feel the head straps at all and the nasal cushions ( medium) fit well and there is no leakage. What is exciting, to ,me anyway, is how the exhaust noise is muted. In my other nasal mask, the exhaust port was one small hole which created a rather loud whooshing sound which took time to get used to. On this mask, it is very soft and I am able to go to sleep literally within minutes of laying down.
I am really glad that I purchased this mask even though it is at the higher end of costs. The fact that it is so comfortable means that i will use it which translates into more effective treatment.

The Swift FX, my first nasal pillow mask, has proven to be amazing. For the previous few years I have used the ResMed Mirage Activa and thought it was hands down likely the best mask ever. Until now.
It took a while to get comfortable with the two pillows in the nose, this was made worse by the fact that I initially had the head strap adjusted too tightly. Turns out that I can adjust this to fit almost loosely under my nose and still have a great seal. A video here on the product page of how to adjust and wear the mask would be helpful. After finding a good fit on the second night and not having my nose scrunched up I was able to fully appreciate the light weight of the mask. The Swift FX weighs in at less than 2 ounces compared to my old mask weighing over 4 ounces.
No more mask lines on the right and left of my nose or indentations from the forehead cushion. Since I have a mustache I also think the Swift FX works better than my old over-the-nose mask as sometimes it would develop a leak during the night depending on how the mask sat on my mustache. Another benefit is that if you feel a bit claustrophobic with the head gear wrapping your head and the mask over your nose, the Swift FX almost gave me back the feeling that I didn't have a mask on at all.
Regarding the Swift and my humidifier; my CPAP has a setting range between 0 and 6. With my old mask I would set the humidifier at 1.5 in the winter and 2 in the summer to avoid mask rain. I have tested the Swift with humidity settings up to 5.5 before I started getting mask rain. This only began when the temperature in our room with the windows open dropped to 65 degrees – I live in Arizona! I love the extra humidity I'm able to get with the Swift FX before it starts raining in the mask.
The nasal pillows: The kit I received came with large and medium pillows. The large size was no good for me; the medium is what I ended up using. I'm interested in trying the small pillows though, as I think they may be the better fit for me. I'll try to update this as I test the smaller nasal pillow. I wish there was some visual guide to help in choosing the pillow size before we buy our kit.
Travelers; this mask if perfect for us when traveling long distance international flights. We do not look so alien with the Swift sitting almost inconspicuously under our noses compared to wearing the fighter pilot headgear. Also, when camping I loved that this setup as it is so compact and light; now if only we could buy a 2 or 3 foot hose of the same diameter that comes with the Swift to lighten our load a little more.

Not only is it comfortable, it's light and packs away easily. If it lasts more than a few months, Resmed has a winner.
Thanks for showing it to me.
I could not believe how light this mask is. It is easy to fit AND wear. The "Fighter pilot" look in nasal masks for me is history. I use this mask with my Remstar machine.
Great customer service. Thanks.
I don't find myself having to constantly adjust anything, I can sleep through the night without any problems. The headgear is so lightweight, I can sleep on my side comfortably.
Having worn a nasal mask for the past 4 years, I was hesitant to try the nasal pillows. I'm happy I did, the pillows fit snuggly and comfortably. Like that the headgear is so durable too. I tried using the nasal pillows with and without the heated humidifier. I found it more comfortable when the heated humidifier was turned on. My pressure is a 8
This is the best nasal pillow mask I have tried. It's incredibly lightweight. I can watch tv or read comfortably while wearing it.
I used to have the Resmed Mirage Swift™ II Nasal Pillow. Moving on to the Resmed Swift™ FX Nasal Pillow was a great step in improving sleep comfort. When lying the head on the side, it's easy to move the hose out of the way and the pillow stays in place, as opposed to my previous one where the pillow would tend to move when lying on the side the hose was plugged in.
I don't know if it's the best, but it's definitely a good buy. Don't even consider the Resmed Mirage Swift™ II.
I have been using Resmed Pillow Masks since 4 years including the prior generations "Lite"masks which I still use and is is great but this is the best yet. Easy to toss and turn, seals rather well and no longer need to assemble many parts as with prior generations. The service is great – Thank you Chris for guiding me over the last three years.
This was the second nasal pillow mask I tried after using a full face mask and I love it! It is extremely comfortable and being a side sleeper, I do not have problems breaking the seal like I did with full face masks. I use a chin strap with it but it does not leave marks on my face like full face masks did. I like to read in bed and I can easily do so with this mask plus it's very easy to put on and take off if I have to get out of bed during the night. It's also very easy to clean. My compliance with my CPAP therapy improved significantly after switching to this mask and my physician is very pleased by that.
