With top-of-the-head swivel a key feature in the design, tubing is kept out of the way during active sleep. Users can comfortably sleep in any position—side, back, or stomach—and even move around at night. The quick-release elbow makes disconnecting or reattaching to the tubing simple after a middle of the night bathroom break.

The ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow Mask comes with a soft sleeve encases the frame for a more comfortable sleeping experience. The low-profile frame allows users the freedom to wear glasses to read or watch TV. And, there is no pressure on the bridge of the nose!

2. Undo the fastening tabs on the headgear strap and pull it from the frame.

3. Squeeze the side buttons on the elbow and detach from the frame.

4. Clean the cushion after every use. Clean the headgear, frame and elbow weekly.

What Customers are Saying about the AirFit P30i

Very nice, quiet and soft. I side sleep a lot and this is just what I need to lay on one side or the other without leakage and sleep comfortably. (Posted on 10/7/2019)

This replaced a ResMed P10. I’ve only used it a few weeks, but so far it’s a noticeable improvement. With the P10, I’d wake up several times a night with it slightly leaking. It only took pulling it away from my nose and releasing it to address that, but the P30 doesn’t cause that hardly at all. I like the hose coming off the top rather than my nose, too. (Posted on 9/17/2019)

I like this much better than the dreamwear. It is more comfortable, fits better, doesn’t leave marks on my face and isn’t as noisy. The quality seems better too. I’ve tried 5 or so different masks and this is by far my favorite. (Posted on 9/1/2019)

I’ve been using CPAP for over 30 years and I’ve tried/used lots of different masks/pillows with both front connections and top of head. The P30i is the best yet for me (everyone’s face and needs are different). Like the P10, works with very little pressure on face and is as good at minimizing leaks as any i’ve had while on back or side. (Posted on 6/25/2019)

My mouth opens. And air comes thru mouth. How to solve that?

    • Chris Vasta

Hi Donna, you could try a chin strap to help secure your chin and mouth in place, reducing the chance of your mouth opening. You can find some comfortable chin strap options on this page. If you have any additional questions, please call us at 866-414-9700. Thanks!

I got my cpap machine a week ago, with the P30i nasal pillows. I have had to take it off a couple of nights because of pain on my septum. Is there any way to separate the pillows a little further? it feels as though they are pinching.

I have the N30i mask from Resmed with the nasal cushion design. I would like to try the P30i mask with nasal pillow design. It seems that the cushion and the pillow inserts are interchangeable with the headgear looking exactly the same. So I would just like to buy the nasal pillow insert fitting the P30i and try it on my N30i mask. Your article says they are interchangeable. But I just called Resmed and their customer service person said they are not interchangeable. Do I really need to buy an entire P30i just to try the nasal pillows? Thank you!

    • Chris Vasta

Hello, Richard. According to Resmed literature “To improve fit and comfort, the AirFit P30i nasal pillows are interchangeable with the AirFit N30i nasal cradle cushion. Thus, switching between the nasal pillow and cradle cushion enhances performance and compliance”. You would not have to purchase the complete mask. However, if you do purchase cushion separately, you would not be able to be refunded for that item once it is opened.

I just recently picked up the P30i mask. I’ve been using CPAP now for about 7 months and have tried several different mask starting with the F20, F30 and then the N30i. The full face mask were too cumbersome and made me claustrophobic. I’ve been using the N30i about the last since it was introduced in Jan and it was almost perfect but I’ve been having trouble getting it to seal consistently and the venting in the front is kind of strong.
As soon as I saw the P30i I knew I had to try it. I was nervous about how intrusive pillows would feel but I knew they would seal more consistently. This mask is so comfortable. This is the first time I’ve used a mask that didn’t make me want to take it off as soon as I hit the 7 hr threshold. It’s like its not there. The venting is ultra quiet and mild as I’m very sound sensitive. I’ve already ordered a couple of replacement cushions to put in my old headgear for travel and a backup for the new one. For the first time I actually look forward to using CPAP.
