HumidX Plus for AirMini Travel CPAP Machine - Overview

The HumidX Plus is designed to provide waterless humidification to therapy when you are using a ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP Machine. This product includes a 6-pack of heat and moisture exchangers (HME), and delivers effective humidification without the use of water. During exhalation, heat and moisture is captured and stored in the paper ridges of the unit. As you inhale, the heat and moisture is then release the bring moisture to the air you are breathing in. 

The Humid X Plus unit should be placed between your mask and the vent and should be replaced after 30 days of opening.

What is the difference between the HumidX and the HumidX plus?
HumidX is ResMed's standard waterless humidification system, suitable for most climates. HumidX Plus is intended for use in dry and high altitude environments with low humidity (e.g. airplane cabins).
Do You Have To Use HumidX Plus With AirMini?
No, HumidX Plus is not a necessity. You can use the AirMini without humidification.
Can I Clean The ResMed AirMini HumidX Plus?
The HumidX Plus HME cannot be cleaned and cannot get wet. It must be replaced 30 days after opening the packaging.
How Frequently Must The ResMed AirMini HumidX Plus Be Replaced?
The HumidX Plus must be replaced 30 days after opening the packaging. Even if the HME was not used every day during the 30 day period, it still must be replaced.
