Is the ResMed AirSense 10 Water Chamber Dishwasher Safe?

AirSense 10, AirStart 10, and AirCurve 10 devices denote the "S" or "C" mark of the water chamber model. To find the term HumidAirTM and the accompanying letter embossed inside the tank, look immediately above the maximum fill line marked on the side of the chamber.

If the chamber shows a “C” it is a HumidAir C, which means the tank can be cleaned and the water chamber is dishwasher safe.

If the chamber shows an “S” it is a HumidAir S, which means it has a standard tank and the water chamber is not dishwasher safe.

When it is inside the humidifier, never fill the ResMed AirSense 10 Water Chamber Dishwasher Safe chamber.

To fill the tank, use only bottled water stored at room temperature. Do not introduce into the water any toxins or additives. It can result in damage to either the airway or the water tank.

Never fill the ResMed AirSense 10 Water Chamber that is dishwasher safe past the highest fill limit or else the humidifier or CPAP device may suffer damage. If the water chamber is filled with excess water when the tank cover is mounted, water may gush out of the chamber inlet (located on the side of the tank).

Before disconnecting the hose from the tank outlet, inspect to make sure the hose does not have water in it, otherwise, water in it may spill into the machine.

The door of the humidifier must be in an open position prior to removing the water tank. Do not drain the water tank without making sure the door locks on the humidifier are open. If there is a water in  in the tank, never move the humidifier

Before moving the humidifier frame, take out the chamber, drain all the water and refill the empty tank.

To avoid spills, avoid disconnect the CPAP device from the water chamber with water in the reservoir. Before disconnecting the CPAP device, detach the humidifier from the ResMed AirSense 10 water chamber and empty all water.

Never switch on the humidifier without the water tank inserted. Keep the number setting of the humidifier set to 0 if no water is present in the water chamber.
