What Do I Do If the Wisp Pediatric CPAP Mask is Leaking?

A limited volume of exhaled air is allowed to pass through gaps in the mask. This is critical, and these gaps must not be closed. Adjusting the mask can help if it seems to be leaking more than usual or if the system is alerting you to a leak.

If the leak is found before the child goes to sleep, make sure the headgear is properly fitted but not too close tight. The cushion may be "re-seated" by gently pulling it away from the face and then repositioning it to restore the cushion seal.

If the leak is discovered whilst the child is sleeping, nudge the cushion closer to the child's face with the Leak Correction Dial.
