I have this mask. Loved the way it fit under my chin. I like the head gear. But i woke up the second morning with a cut on my fore head. I guess i am the type that rolls around from side to side, and even on my stomach. But between this mask and the one with the smaller bridge, i have a scare on my fore head and on the bridge of my nose. Just wish they made this mask with a softer cushion.

I used to use the Quatro FX mask. I even went one size bigger then the specialist told me too. The head gear streched out, the next thing i knew was the mask was in my mouth. Well i bought the Forma on my own. I was a little hesitant. But to my surprise it works. I use the cloth liners, inside the mask, but now i have a sore nose bridge. I think i will buy the pads for it. When you get old it is hard to fix ugly, and i need all the help i can get. But being a mouth breather, this is truly a great mask.
I just wonder what mask i will be given when i return the Quatro FX. Hope i have a choice. Just wish there was a convention type of event that we users could go to and tell the companies what we are looking for.I would redesign the head gear on this one.

I have a wide, square jaw, and I've had a lot of problems with leakage on other full-face masks. This mask has probably been the best one that I've used so far.
The caveat is that I use an extra tie-down, tying a strap around the front of the mask to the back of my head, but this doesn't interfere too much with the air coming out of the front. This puts a little more pressure on the bridge of my nose, but it's no worse than I've had with similar masks. I think you need to replace the pad about twice a year to get the best use out of it.

This mask is fabulous. It fits very comfortably with little or no leakage as it fits snugly under the chin. I think once you try one you will stick to this brand and style. Would highly recommend it.

I do tend to open my mouth a bit when I sleep. This under the chin design was exactly what I was looking for! The foam cushion is especially comfortable and I haven't had too many issue with leaks. Really nice full face!

I'm new to the CPAP world, so I don't know how common face masks are at bruising the nose ridge, but this one does it. Good air flow and relatively easy to sleep sideways. Just don't face your partner, or they will get air blown in their face. I do have trouble balancing tightness with leakage. My machine is set at 13, and a turn of the head can cause leakage.

I bought the forma full face mask after much trial and error. I cant use a nasal mask because i open my mouth when i sleep. And while I have tried other full faced masks before, It slips and slides while i sleep. I have tried chinstraps to even help with my situation and found it uncomfortable. And then i tried the forma. It stays under my chin, which after doing some research, seems fisher and paykel are the only ones to do this. It works well for the most part. It does not hinder my sleeping with the elongated mask, all the while keeping the mask firmly set in place on my face. No chinstraps, no leaks so far. I am very happy with this mask!

As another reviewer posted, I would also wake up with the bottom of a mask in my mouth. I've tried several full face masks before, with this same problem. I noticed this one actually goes under the chin, so I tried. What a difference! My mouth stays closed and I am able to stay asleep for the whole night. Definitely recommend the Forma for anyone dealing with the same problem.

I could not use the nosemask since my mouth opens slightly when I am asleep and my mouth dries out. I had to purchase a Full Face ask and I picked this Fisher & Paykel Forma Full Face CPAP Mask.
This full face mask seems to resolve more or less this problem. Still wake up sometimes with a dry mouth even though I am using a humidifier but definitely better than the nose mask.
I do recommend this mask since it has a big advantage that goes under the chin and will not move up while you sleep.
Nice advantage also that it comes with both the Medium and Large mask inserts. The foam could be a touch softer but after a while you can get used to it.
The people here at The CPAP Shop are the most helpful and nicest people you can deal with.

I tried all the other full face masks and found this to be the most comfortable. I like the way it rests under my chin. It holds its seal well and is fairly lightweight. Would def. recommend this to others.

We understand that finding a real unbiased review is very important. Because of this, we spend hours talking to customers to better understand their likes and dislikes for a particular mask. Our review for the Fisher & Paykel Forma full face CPAP mask:
The Forma’s shape and lightweight design provides full face CPAP mask users with the basics for a positive experience.
As mentioned, the cushion is one of the most important features of a CPAP mask. The Forma’s cushion sets the mask apart from competitors. The cushion is composed of an outer silicone shell with a unique foam insert. This uniquely designed FlexiFoam cushion is a soft, light and supportive foam which provides an excellent seal and advances the active contouring that conforms naturally to a CPAP users face. The silicon seal which surrounds the foam is also frosted which enhances the feel and optimizes the mask seal. Fisher & Paykel Forma employs their patented Flexifoam Technology which automatically adjusts to a wide range of nasal and facial contours.
Different from previous Fisher & Pakel full face CPAP masks, a forehead T-bar has been added to provide added stability and a complement to the under chin design to allow for FlexiFit to auto adjust for hassle-free fitting. However, Fisher & Paykel has kept all the features CPAP users have come enjoy; the Crown strap works in conjunction with the under-chin design to preserve the mask placement and, thus, its seal, the Glider straps with easy release cords which allow for freedom of movement and a simple one-step removal.
Of all the Fisher & Paykel full face CPAP masks, the Forma has proven to be the most popular, versatile and effective. In fact, the Forma rivals any full face mask by other manufacturers. It has consistently received good reviews in the areas of comfort, effectiveness and value. Most users who try it, typically stay with it which is always a good sign.

I have been using the Respironics Remstar CPAP for 8 years. My pressure is 16cmH2o and I have always had a difficult time finding a full face mask that seals well. The Forma wins hands down for me. It supports under the chin, which really helps me since I have dentures. The gray colored foam is very soft and extremely light ( unlike the gel style masks ). I have been using this mask for 3 weeks now and have only had a few minor leaks which are quickly corrected by loosening or tightening the adjustable head straps.

I must wear a full face mask, but sometimes I'd wake up with the mask in my teeth. This under the chin design stopped that. This one of the very few masks that have this feature.
Great fit, with the two cushions no guess-work on the size.
Thank your staff. Great job.
