ResMed’s AutoSet algorithm, the gold standard in automatic positive airway therapy, has been enhanced on the S9 platform with the addition of Central Sleep Apnea detection. The Enhanced AutoSet algorithm detects the difference between an open and closed airway and treats them appropriately.

• Intuitive Design: The S9 series is an evolutionary leap forward in form and function. The controls are not only inviting, stylish and easy to use, they also offer innovative features that ensure patient support and encouragement.

• Climate Control: S9’s Climate Control system automatically delivers the optimal temperature and humidity right to the mask. It protects you from rainout without compromising humidity and provides the most comfortable therapy possible.

• ClimateLine Heated Tube: Using advanced precision moulding techniques, a heating circuit is embedded in the spiral of the ClimateLine tube. This is automatically controlled by the Climate Control algorithm to deliver a constant comfortable temperature at the mask. Located at the mask end of the tube, a sensor measures the temperature of the air leaving the tube. Unique to ResMed, this feature offers complete temperature and comfort control. (The ClimateLine Heated Tube can only be used with the H5i Heated Humidifier)

• Quietness: S9’s enhanced Easy-Breathe motor delivers more performance yet virtually eliminates the noise radiated into the room and the noise conducted down the tube creating the most peaceful environment for you and your bed partner.

• SlimLine Tubing: Compared to traditional tubing, the SlimLine tube is 40% lighter, 20% thinner and takes up 35% less space.

• Compliance Management: Patient compliance is the primary focus of S9’s data management systems.  The S9 Series offers three ways to prove patient compliance

1. Data on the device - via the Sleep Quality Indicator and Sleep Report
2. SD card (with detailed, high resolution data for every device)
3. Modules (for direct and remote download)
