AirFit N10 Nasal CPAP Mask - Fitting

Align the bottom of the cushion opening with the bottom of your nose, with the grey side of the headgear facing outward and the lower headgear straps released.

Cover your nose with the mask. Pull the headgear over your head.

Headgear check: When putting on the headgear, make sure the label is facing outwards.

Pull the lower straps down to your earlobes. Attach the magnet clip to the frame's exterior.

Undo the fastening tabs on the lower and upper headgear straps. Adjust the straps equally until the mask fits snugly on your nose. Reattach the fastening tabs.

Connect your CPAP device’s tube to the free end of the mask short tube assembly. Make sure your device is blowing air when you turn it on.

Adjust the cushion and headgear so the mask is not creased or twisted and lies nicely on your nose. If you feel air venting from the sides of the cushion or into your eyes, readjust the headgear straps for a secure seal.

Notes

The upper straps are the most important modifications for comfort and seal.

Make sure they're not too stiff.

The lower straps are used to maintain the cushion's position.

For the mask to fit easily, they don't need to be tightened very much.

Removing AirFit™ N10 Nasal CPAP Mask

Twist the lower headgear strap and clip away from the magnets on the frame.

Pull the mask back over your head and away from your face.

Disassembling AirFit™ N10 Nasal CPAP Mask

Remove the headgear from the frame by disconnecting the upper straps and lower magnetic clips.

Squeeze the cushion and pull it away from the frame.

If soft sleeves are on the frame, simply slip them off.

Reassembling AirFit™ N10 Nasal CPAP Mask

Insert the top and bottom clips into the correct slots on the frame to secure the cushion to the frame.

Pull the optional soft sleeves over the frame's upper arms to fit.

Thread the top headgear straps into the frame slots from the inside out, with the ResMed logo facing out. To secure the Velcro strap, fold it over.

Thread the lower headgear straps into the slots with the magnet clips facing down to reattach the magnet clips to the headgear. To secure the strap, fold it over.

Cleaning AirFit™ N10 Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear at Home

Hand-wash your mask and headgear in warm water with a mild soap. All components should be thoroughly rinsed with water and air-dried, away from direct sunlight.

Always use gentle soap and follow the cleaning instructions. Some cleaning products can harm the mask, its components, and its function, as well as leave harmful residual vapors that can be inhaled if not properly rinsed. If a system component shows signs of deterioration (cracking, crazing, tears, etc. ), it should be discarded and replaced.

Daily/After each use:

Facial oils should be cleaned from the cushion during use to improve the mask seal.

Hand-wash the mask components that have been separated (excluding headgear and soft sleeves).

Use a soft bristle brush to clean the vent or swivel if necessary.

Weekly

Hand wash the headgear and soft sleeves once a week. The headgear can be wiped without having to take it apart.
