ResMed AirCurve 10 ST with Heated Humidifier

The AirCurve 10 ST is a bilevel device with backup rate that provides exceptional patient–ventilator synchrony, reducing the work of breathing so you can remain comfortable and well-ventilated. It’s an ideal choice for reliable, cost-effective noninvasive ventilation when alarms are not required.  The AirCurve 10 ST has a total of four operational modes - spontaneous (S), spontaneous/timed (S/T), timed (T), and conventional CPAP mode. The primary mode of this particular VPAP device - spontaneous/timed (S/T) - will initiate a breath and begin IPAP. The duration of IPAP is controlled by your machine; this VPAP device will then automatically reduce pressure to EPAP. The S/T mode provides consistent relief and minimizes discomfort during therapy.

Climate Control: With the AirCurve 10 ST Climate Control system, you receive  constant, comfortable temperature and humidity levels during therapy. It’s comprised of the HumidAir™ humidifier, which is built into the machine, and the ClimateLineAir™ heated air tube.

myAir: Available to all AirCurve 10 users, myAir is an easy-to-use web program that syncs up with your machine to let you know how you slept the night before, and helps you stay on track throughout your sleep apnea treatment journey.

TiControl: Accommodate patients’ unique needs with TiControl™. Ti Max enables you to set a maximum inspiratory time to reduce the risk of intrinsic PEEP and missed patient effort, while Ti Min ensures adequate time for gas exchange without having to increase the pressure setting.

Trigger and cycle sensitivities: Adjustable trigger sensitivity supports patients with a weak inspiratory effort. Adjustable cycle is crucial for those at risk for intrinsic PEEP or premature breath cycling.

Vsync continuous leak management: Enables reliable delivery of therapy pressure while maintaining patient-device synchrony. Vsync constantly monitors the flow so that if an unintentional mask leak occurs, the device can quickly compensate for the leak and maintain breathing synchrony.
