When And How Do I Clean My AirSense 11 CPAP Machine?
At a minimum, you should clean your CPAP weekly. Clean your machine using mild soap in a sink or tub (be sure your machine is unplugged). Be sure to use clean and warm water. Do not put your CPAP or supplies in a washing machine or dishwasher. Other users prefer to use 50/50 water and vinegar solutions. In either case, be sure to wipe your equipment down using a clean, dry towel.
Do The CPAP AirSense 11 Machines Come With an SD Card?
ResMed no longer includes SD cards; however, the AirSense 11 is built with a slot for SD cards.
Can I use tap water in my humidifier?
While you can use tap water, distilled water is recommended for your AirSense 11 humidifier. Tap water may contain minerals that can build up in the water chamber over time, potentially reducing the life of your equipment. If you do use tap water, empty and clean the chamber more frequently.
How do I connect my AirSense 11 to the myAir app?
To connect your AirSense 11 to the myAir app:
- Download the myAir app from the App Store or Google Play Store
- Create an account and register your device using the device serial number (located on the bottom of your machine)
- Ensure your machine is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete the pairing process
Once connected, your sleep data will automatically sync after each therapy session when your device is within range of your Wi-Fi network.
What's the difference between AutoSet mode and fixed pressure?
AutoSet mode automatically adjusts the air pressure throughout the night based on your breathing patterns. It increases pressure when it detects an obstruction and decreases pressure when it's not needed, providing a more comfortable experience. Fixed pressure, on the other hand, delivers a constant, predetermined pressure throughout the night. AutoSet is generally more comfortable for most users as it provides only the pressure you need when you need it.
