Every time a use a new gel pillows I have a difficult time getting a good seal for a while. Any suggestions?

    • Chris Vasta

Hi Elizabeth, fitting a CPAP nasal pillows mask properly really depends on the position you are in. Your facial muscles change whether you are sitting up or lying down, so try sealing the pillows while you are all set in your sleeping position.

  • Nancy

Hi…I have sensitive skin so I get red sores under my nose from my nasal pillow. I’m thinking I might try the gel pillow, do you think this will help? Thanks

PLEASE HELP. URGENT. How can I stop the BURNING sensation in my nostrils after 30-60 mins of use/?

    • Chris Vasta

The burning sensation can occur when your nasal passages becoming dry. YOu may want to adjust your humidifier settings. You can use the Nasal Moisturizing SKU# AGCE1000. It may also help to use a nasal mask so the air is not so concentrated. With the Philips Respironics, Dreamwear Gel Pillow Mask, you could swap out the pillows for the cushion.

I find I have a crackling noise from the front vent on this mask. If I cover the vent the noise goes away so I know that’s where it’s coming from. It is a very comfy mask but this is quite an annoying sound. I’d love to know how to fix the problem.

    • Chris Vasta

Hello, Sue. The crackling noise is likely being caused by rainout. Rainout is the term for moister build up inside of the tube. The heated tube available for the CPAP/BiPAP machines is intended to prevent rainout, or you can use a tube buddy.

I want this pillow combined with a full face mask. I am a mouth breather. Must have the mouth covered.
I really like the looks of this nasal pillow. can it be done?

    • Chris Vasta

Hello, Ken. No the Full Face version of the Dreamwear mask dose not have pillows. The gel pillows from the Dreamwear Nasal Pillow Mask are not compatible with the Full Face Dreamwear mask.

    • Chris Vasta

Hello, John. I am currently not able to locate an order with your name from that date. May I ask which Fisher&Paykel mask you need the headgear for?
