ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her Overview
The smart technology of the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her has been calibrated to meet the specific breathing needs of female CPAP patients. By putting their comfort and sleep pattern needs first, ResMed has created a customized CPAP therapy experience completely focused on women managing their sleep apnea.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP Machine for Her
The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her delivers CPAP therapy specifically tailored to women. Using a patented algorithm, the PAP therapy delivered is customized for the female OSA patient and ensures a more comfortable night’s rest. The device also includes an integrated humidifier, Bluetooth connectivity, and advanced event detection.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet - For Her Algorithm
ResMed has designed a unique algorithm to target apneas and unnatural breathing episodes specifically in women. Women experience slightly different apnea episodes than men do. Women have slightly smaller airways and experience upper airway respiratory disturbances more often than men. To target this condition, ResMed created this algorithm to quickly treat these frequent disturbances.
A conventional CPAP machine increases pressure by 3cm H2O after three consecutive abnormal breaths. Because it needs to treat apneas more frequently, AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her responds to incidents quickly. The machine is designed to detect unnatural respiration cycles after just a single breath and so the "For Her" algorithm goes to work immediately. The machine will increase pressure by 2.5cm H2O after just one unnatural breath and holds a new pressure until normal respiration recommences..
Features of ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her - Automatic Pressure Adjustment
The auto ramping feature is ideal for new users who have difficulty adapting to CPAP therapy. The AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her begins with lower pressure settings when first falling asleep then automatically adjusts to prescribed settings once you are in a deep sleep. AutoRamp is one of the best ways to remain CPAP compliant.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her - Integrated Heated Humidification
The heated humidifier infuses the dry pressurized air with moist heated air. Never wake up with a sore throat or dry nose again. The integrated design means a compact, small footprint that takes up less space.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her - A Quieter CPAP Experience
The easy-breathe motor is fully insulated to prevent noise during CPAP therapy. Enjoy a peaceful sleep for you and your bed partner.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her - Smart Event Detection
The AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her can distinguish between obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea events. With its innovative technology, it can adjust to automatically meet the specific pressure setting needs of every apnea while you sleep.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her - Ambient Lighting
The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her automatically adjusts to the lighting in your room, so the screen is always perfectly dimmed for a peaceful sleep.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her - Relief While Exhaling
